Register today for the next ACS Webinar for Cancer Coalitions which will discuss "Cancer and Climate Change," on Jan. 14th (2-3 PM EST) Learn more here.

Climate change is increasingly recognized as a threat to both environmental and public health, with potential impacts across the cancer continuum.

During this webinar, we will hear from speakers Leticia Nogueira, PhD, MPH, Scientific Director of Health Services Research at the American Cancer Society; and Gila Neta, PhD, MPP, Program Director with the Implementation Science team in the Office of the Director in the Division of Cancer Control and Population Sciences (DCCPS) at the National Cancer Institute (NCI).

We will discuss how climate change can increase exposures to cancer risk factors, negatively impact food access and quality, disrupt cancer care treatment and exacerbate cancer disparities; as well as explore how cancer coalitions can address climate change in their cancer plan updates and implementation efforts.

Together, we can make a meaningful impact in the fight against cancer.

Warm regards,

Your ACS CCC Team-

Katie Bathje
