Montanya Distillers Unveils Valentia to Celebrate Female Distillers

Montanya Distillers, a craft rum distillery and Certified B Corporation based in Crested Butte, Colorado, has added a new addition to its rum family — Valentia (Val-en-tee-a). This American-made, premium, limited-release rum celebrates the progress women have made in becoming a vital part of craft distilling. Renee Newton, a distiller at Montanya, first distilled Valentia more than four years ago, and it has been aging in oak ever since. (CraftSpiritsMag.com)

Dad’s Hat Pennsylvania Rye Introduces Four-Year-Old Straight Rye

Recently, Dad’s Hat Pennsylvania Rye Whiskey, owned and operated by Herman Mihalich and John Cooper, celebrated seven years since they began production for their whiskey business in Bristol, Pennsylvania, and they’re doing so in more ways than one. SILO Distillery Releases The Maple Manhattan RTD Cocktail
|

SILO Distillery of Windsor, Vermont, recently released its first ready-to-drink cocktail—the Maple Manhattan—one of the first of this type of product in the state of Vermont. Made with a blend of SILO’s Maple Whiskey, house-made Amaro (soon to be released in a larger bottle format on its own) and a hibiscus tincture, the cocktail comes in at 74 proof and is available in 100-mL glass flasks. Kentucky's Bardstown Bourbon Co. Unveils New Spirits

The Bardstown Bourbon Co. of Bardstown, Kentucky, has released the newest versions of its Fusion and Discovery Series #2 products. Fusion Series #1 made its debut in April 2019, followed by the launch of Discovery Series #1 in June. Fusion and Discovery Series #2 will now replace these initial releases across the distillery’s national distribution footprint.
