Turning Hope into Action
ACSS Partners with Westside Works to
Make a Greater Impact in Atlanta
For more than 40 years the Atlanta Center for Self Sufficiency has delivered comprehensive services to prepare individuals with the skills and tools to re-enter the workforce.

Today ACSS continues to remain committed to our mission of helping our clients to become independent and sustainably employed economic contributors to society. As of last month, we are extending our footprint in the city through our new partnership with CareerRise at Westside Works.

Westside Works is a neighborhood-based workforce collaborative, looking to transform the Westside community and Greater Metro Atlanta through increased access to job training, education services, and good jobs. ACSS now has staff working on-site at Westside Works helping residents with their career service needs through career coaching and job training opportunities.

Expanding our reach through Westside Works helps ACSS to increase the impact we make on individuals and communities. Our goal, when we work with our clients, is to get them trained, employed, and self-sufficient regardless of their circumstances, and we are now able to help even more people through this partnership and satellite office location.

"Over the past three years, ACSS has intentionally shifted our programming to help our participants to focus more on career progressions by seeking training and employment that will set them up for future success. We are excited to join the Westside Works collaborative, and for the opportunity to work with residents who are eager to re-enter the workforce and begin the path to self-sufficiency," says President and CEO, Dana Inman.

This month, Westside Works is relaunching on Thursday, September 22nd with a fun launch event, and we invite you to join us to celebrate this new ACSS location! Details below.
