To help improve community-wide transparency, Sacramento Steps Forward will soon begin releasing reports on Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) data and activity.
This email provides information on these reports and invites you to:
- Learn about the purpose and timing of these reports,
- Review how your organization's data and activity is portrayed, and
- Provide us with updated information and ask questions.
About the Reports
The following two reports will be publicly available on the Sacramento Steps Forward website within the coming few months. Exact dates will be shared when they have been confirmed.

The "Sacramento Community System Performance Measures" (SC SPMs) report on key performance indicators for each program in HMIS. All active programs covered by the Sacramento Community Standards will be included in this report. It will be released quarterly.

The "System Utilization Report" on shelter and housing inventory in Sacramento as recorded in the HMIS. This report will include all programs with active inventory in HMIS on the first of each month. It will be released monthly.
