ACTION ALERT: Appropriations Subcommittee Hearings & Testimony Writing Campaign!

Join us for two upcoming hearings in the Appropriations Subcommittees, both of which support our funding request as part of the DHMAS and DOH budgets. We need your support and solidarity, and even more of the great turnout for these upcoming hearings as we had last week!

Why It's Important: on Friday, February 21st, the Appropriations Subcommittee on Health will be holding hearings on H.B. 6864, An Act Concerning the State Budget for the Biennium Ending June 30th, 2027 and Making Appropriations Therefor.

These hearings are an opportunity to write testimony in support of the DMHAS and DOH allocations for Housing & Homeless in the FY 2026-27 state budget, and to reiterate our request for $33.5 Million for the Homeless Response System.

Sign up to Write an Op-Ed: Op-eds and Letters to the Editor are a great way to inform your community and region about issues you care about, and whether you need help brainstorming, drafting, editing, or submitting your letter, we are here to assist.

Get In Touch with Legislators: Let them know that we appreciate that Governor Lamont included the Homeless Response System in his proposed budget, and now we need them to support legislation that will solve homelessness in your community.
