ACTION ALERT: Join Us for Upcoming Appropriations Hearings!

We need YOUR voice and YOUR testimony this week and next as we go up to Hartford to advocate for our funding requests. Wear your yellow shirt and bring your board members, community members, partners, staff, and colleagues - we need as many people as possible to attend and speak up for life-saving funding.

Even if you can't attend, please submit your written testimony and encourage others to do the same! You can find the templates linked below.

Why It's Important:

• On Friday, Feb. 20th, the Appropriations Subcommittee on Conservation & Development will hear testimony on funding for the homeless response system in the Department of Housing (DOH) budget.
• On Monday, Feb. 23rd, the Appropriations Subcommittee on Health will hear testimony on funding for the homeless response system in the Department of Mental Health & Addiction Services (DMHAS) budget.
• These hearings will cover the funding requests in the CT CAN End Homelessness 2026 Legislative Agenda.
