Our first hearing for Senate Bill 5760 is scheduled for Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at 8:00 am in the Senate Committee on Business, Trade and Financial Services. We are writing to encourage all film industry supporters to sign in to support the bill before the hearing.

And here’s your step-by-step guide about how to do it!  

• STEP 1: Log on to https://app.leg.wa.gov/csi/Senate

• STEP 2: On the drop-down menu that lists the committees select Business, Trade and Financial Services.

• STEP 3: On the drop-down menu that lists the meetings select 01/18/22 8:00 AM.

• STEP 4: When the window opens, you will see a list of bills including two for the motion picture industry. Select SB 5760 Motion picture program.

• STEP 5: When the window opens and you are asked to select "type of testimony" choose “I would like my position noted for the legislative record.” 

• STEP 6:  A new window will open with the title "Committee Sign In - Legislative Record." In the drop-down menu for “Position,” select Pro. Continue to fill out all of the required fields including your First Name, Last Name, Email, City, State and Zip.  

Lastly, indicate that you are not a robot and then

click Submit Registration.
