Send 5 Messages to Protect the Right to Vote!

Have you heard the news? The League of Women Voters of Massachusetts (LWVMA) has filed a lawsuit in the US District Court for the District of Massachusetts challenging President Trump’s March 31 Executive Order that disenfranchises eligible voters across the nation from their legal right to vote by mail. Far from improving elections, this executive order would block thousands of Americans from their basic constitutional rights.

With national partners by our side, LWVMA is proud to lead the charge in this historic moment. Let us be clear: this is a hometown fight. As minutemen and women fought in the streets of Boston, Lexington, and Concord 250 years ago, our fight is a revolutionary act that will affect the nation.

We encourage you to share this message with your own members and personal networks to inform and motivate them to help! Here’s how you can help: Copy and paste the script below to email or text 5 of your members and peers to help us fundraise towards our $30,000 goal!

Hi! I’m volunteering with the League of Women Voters of Massachusetts as a member of [insert your local League/Member at-Large] to support our historic fight to protect voting rights and STOP President Trump’s March 31 Executive Order against mail-in voting. Our lawsuit will impact thousands of voters in Massachusetts and the resources for our upcoming 2026 election. Your contribution will stop the ramifications of this Executive Order and support public education so that every voter can participate without barriers or legal costs. Can we count on your support for voting rights today? https://lwvma.org/donate/

The time to act is NOW! Every dollar you give will strengthen this fight for accessible elections in Massachusetts. As a reminder, all contributions made to LWVMA stay in Massachusetts, ensuring every Bay Stater has the right to free and fair elections.
