Dear Elementary Panther Families,
We hope this email finds you well! As we are nearing the end of the 2nd Quarter, we would love to take the opportunity to share information regarding learning environments for the 3rd Quarter (January 19th - March 26).
Wesley Prep believes that on campus learning, when possible, is most conducive to meeting the academic, social, and emotional needs of our Panthers. We are incredibly pleased with the learning happening in each classroom and the joy the children are showing. However, we understand these are unprecedented times. In the event that families are uncomfortable with on campus learning due to health concerns and/or students are temporarily in quarantine/isolation due to COVID, we are again offering eLearning for the 3rd Quarter.
If considering eLearning for the 3rd Quarter, please note the following:
The eLearning Expectations document details student, adult, and teacher expectations for eLearning to help ensure a great experience.
- The individual eLearning structure will remain the same for the 3rd Quarter as it has been for the 1st and 2nd Quarters.
As a reminder, individual eLearning differs from whole school eLearning, as described in the Elementary Learning Update video at the 7:47 mark (tinyurl.com/WPElemUpdate1).
We ask that the form is filled out for the following children:
- 2nd Quarter on campus learners who are changing to eLearning by choice for the 3rd Quarter; and
- All 2nd Quarter eLearners by choice (whether continuing with eLearning or changing to on campus learning).
The form DOES NOT need to be filled out for on campus learners who are remaining on campus. If your child is an on campus learner but is currently a temporary eLearner due to quarantine/isolation, your child is still considered an on campus learner unless otherwise indicated by your response on the form.
If filling out the form, please submit it as soon as your decision is made, as this will assist us greatly in moving forward. The due date to complete the form is MONDAY, DECEMBER 14th by NOON. If filling out the form for multiple Elementary students, complete the form individually for each one.

As we did for the 3rd Quarter, Wesley Prep will continue to evaluate eLearning to determine what structure will be offered for the 4th Quarter. Factors including health trends in Dallas County, sustainability, and family needs will be considered.
Thank you for sharing your children with us. They bring us so much JOY!
