• Complete your occupancy verification via the housing portal by January 18.
  • Check-in and pick up your room key from the RL&H office no later than January 18 (if applicable).

Good Morning -
We hope this message finds you well and that you have a great first day of classes!

As we begin the semester, it is time for one of our more important processes - Occupancy Verification - to take place.

All residents are required to log into the Housing Portal and complete the following steps prior to January 18.

Please note that failure to complete this process in a timely manner will result in additional follow-up from our office, so we thank you in advance for your time and attention to this quick process.
Verification Process

  • Select the "Occupancy Verification" Icon.

  • Click "Select" next to the Spring 2022 booking associated with your profile.

  • Select the status from the dropdown that applies to you.

  • Those verifying their room will be asked to sign using their WFU ID. Those notifying us of any room changes must reach out and do so before January 18.

  • Be sure to answer the secondary key status prompt:
Failure to pick up your spring 2022 key from the Office of Residence Life and Housing by January 18, 2022, may result in an improper check-in charge and additional follow-up from our office. Keys may be picked up during business hours (8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.) from our office located at the back of Angelou Hall.

Finally, please note that notification of a move (not previously arranged with RL&H) after January 18, 2022, may result in an unauthorized move charge being added to your account.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to check in with your community staff or contact our office at or 336-758-5185.

Best -
