These are just a few of the good things we get if we can register enough new Democrats to win elections this year and in 2024. 

It'll probably happen, so let's take off the rest of the year and really hit it hard in January. Just kidding! There's so much to do right now! We have young people to register, partnerships to build, and vital 2023 elections to swing – knowing wink to Justice Janet Protasiewicz (WI), Mayor Brandon Johnson (IL) and Mayor Donna Deegan (FL)! And the only way we restore the Democratic trifecta in November '24 is to register Democrats now.

So fire up the coffee pot and let's get to registering! We've got lots of Volunteer Opportunities to help win the crucial special August election in Ohio, where the registration deadline hits in 18 days, on July 10. And we're raising money to buy records for more unregistered folks in Ohio, so we'll put any dollar you have to maximum use. Of course, we also need your help in every other target state, so pick the one that floats your boat. Your volunteering and donating is making the difference every single day.

Elections have consequences. And activism wins elections. So let’s activate!

ADOPT-A-STATE – CHOOSE YOUR OWN BATTLEGROUND!

Adopting a state is a great way to go deep with your donations and make a huge difference.

That's why we've drawn up field plans for our 12 target states in 2024 – and now for our 5 target states in 2023 as well! (Our 2024 targets are AZ, CA, GA, MI, MT, NC, NV, NY, OH, PA, WI, WV. Our 2023 targets are KY, LA, MS, NJ, VA.)

Each state's field plan tells you 1) how much we need to raise in order to do the most good we can, and 2) how many new Democratic voters we expect to register with that budget. If you, your friends & family, or your organization adopts a state, you can help win that state up and down the ballot!

This process works. In '22, Angel Treinen and Onward Toward Progress adopted Nevada and raised $55k for Field Team 6. That allowed us to conduct the most comprehensive outreach we've ever done. And it succeeded wildly, winning 3 swing House seats and 1 swing Senate seat, among other historic results. With your help, we can duplicate this success everywhere.

Thanks to your Adopt-a-State donor efforts, Field Team 6 raised enough money to buy data on 30,000 unregistered likely Democrats in Montana and another 30,000 in Ohio! And we're hoping to raise enough at this coming weekend's Activist Boogie to be able to buy another 30,000 in Ohio!

It is the month of Juneteenth, Pride and Finding Out (in the form of Trump’s first federal indictment—FAFO, Donnie!).

And as this most fabulous of months draws to a close we’re raising the roof and raising money for a fabulous cause: the August special election in Ohio. We’re registering new Ohio Democrats so we can beat back a GOP sponsored amendment to Ohio’s constitution that would raise the threshold for approving future amendments to 60%—something the villains want to get done before a possible November ballot measure to codify abortion rights. Shady as hell!

We’ll have live bands, dancing, and karaoke—including a special performance by Democratic activist, Substacker, and political social media influencer Jess Craven. Ohio’s first voter registration deadline is fast approaching (July 10… yikes!) and there’s so much going on there. It’s a critical state this year AND next! First, there’s an August special election where Republicans are pushing a referendum to make it harder to pass future popular referendums. (It’s a naked power grab by one of the most corrupt GOP cabals in the nation.) We need to register enough Democrats right now to VOTE THIS DOWN.

Then by the November 2023 general election, we need to register enough Democrats to pass an amendment cementing abortion rights in the state constitution. And keep that momentum rolling into 2024 so we can re-elect Sherrod Brown, one of our most vulnerable (and best) senators, in order to keep our all-important Senate majority.
