Best Practices for Implementing the ADA

Meg Conger, Director of ADA Compliance at the City of Kansas City, Missouri will lead an interactive discussion about best practices in implementing the Americans with Disabilities Act in local government. Originally tasked with bringing Kansas City into compliance with a settlement from the Department of Justice, Ms. Conger is in charge of creating policies to ensure that all Kansas City facilities, policies, and employment practices are ADA Compliant.

TARTA and TMACOG Team Up on Local Transit Needs Study

TAKE SURVEY

This brief survey concerning transportation needs in the Toledo Urbanized Area. The survey is part of the Locally Coordinated Public Transit Human Services Transportation Plan update.

The coordinated plan is a Federal Transit Administration (FTA) requirement, and identifies the transportation needs of individuals with disabilities, older adults, and people with low incomes, provides strategies for meeting these needs, and prioritize transportation services for funding and implementation. Your responses will be kept confidential.

Schedule a tour to explore our 17-acre campus, meet our staff that is doing work that matters, and understand our unique programs serving people with disabilities.
