Asalaamu Alaykum Warahmatullah,

The Fiqh Council of North America announced  Wednesday, August 23, 2017 was the 1st day of Dhul Hijjah 1438 based on the announcement by the  Hajj authorities in Makkah. 
Accordingly,  the day of Arafah - the main day of Hajj - will be on Thursday, August 31, 2017and the Eidul Adha 1438 will be on Friday, September 1, 2017.
 
The Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) said: "There aren't any days greater, nor any days in which deeds done in them are more beloved to Allah, the Most High, than these 10 days (of Dhul-Hijjah). So, increase in them the saying of Tahleel (La Ilaaha illa Allah), and Takbeer (Allah Akbar) and Tahmeed (al-Hamdu li-llah)" [Musnad Imaam Ahmad]
 
ADAMS staff and volunteers have been working diligently to welcome the blessed month of  Dhul Hijjah  with proper preparations and arrangements.
