President's Message

Wow - what a year it's been. This time last year, we never could have predicted the twists and turns 2017 would bring, but as this kooky year comes to a close, I'm proud to look back on our significant accomplishments and growth over the past 12 months.
Thanks to the dedication of our sponsors, energy of our volunteers and supporters, and aide of Congressional champions, we are ending 2017 closer to an asbestos ban than we've ever been since our inception in 2004.
Some of our 2017 accomplishment highlights include:
ADAO looks forward to continuing on collaborative efforts to banning asbestos, but can't do it without each and every one of you in our corner. We vow to continue leading the charge for a ban in the U.S. and an asbestos-free future for all and to keep you up to date along the way. We hope you'll stay with us for another whirlwind year of changing the world for the better!
Join ADAO's powerful new "Thunderclap" Campaign today. Our global message "Congress - Ban Asbestos Now" goes live on December 7 at 12:30 pm ET reaching hundreds of thousands of people.
With deep gratitude,

14th Annual International Asbestos Awareness and Prevention Conference April 13-15, 2018

In between Thanksgiving and planning ADAO's 2018 14th Annual Asbestos Awareness and Prevention Conference, we've been reflecting on our gratitude list.  Near the top of that list are our incredible sponsors who support our work as their gift to the asbestos victim community.
Please take a moment to thank those who generously sponsored last year's incredible conference and ADAO's work throughout 2017.  ADAO remains the only U.S. nonprofit that organizes annual conferences dedicated to preventing and eliminating asbestos-caused diseases, and  these are the folks who help make it happen.
With these strong supporters in our corner, I know 2018 holds even more victories for Team ADAO!
