It is with profound sadness that I share thatMike Mattmuller, 38, passed away on April 14, 2020. Mike was an amazing man. His gentle, yet powerful voice resonated through the halls of Congress. After being diagnosed with mesothelioma at the age of 29, Mike and his wife, Jessica, became strong advocates to ban asbestos and promote research for a cure. Since the EPA postponed the Science Advisory Committee on Chemicals (SACC) Draft Asbestos Risk Evaluation meeting, ADAO will be hosting our first online press conference on May 28 at 2 pm ET to discuss the dangerously narrow risk evaluation.
