"Looking at many of the children who are the first in their families to go to college...you know, that's the American Dream," says ADS Founding Board Member Angelo Cabrera, who crossed the border from Mexico as a teenager in 1990 and went on to earn his GED, then undergraduate and graduate degrees. He now works as a community outreach specialist and research manager at Baruch College.
