ADSOEF FUNDING THE FUTURE OF
EXCELLENCE IN EDUCATION!
|
From Your Foundation Directors
This is the fourth edition of the Foundation’s newsletter! It is filled with important information regarding the ADSOEF Annual Meeting, which will be held in person only (no virtual meeting) on June 11, during the OSO Leadership Conference. All members of OSO are voting members of ADSOEF, and registration for the Conference is not required to attend this meeting. Included in this newsletter, you will find the Annual Meeting agenda, draft minutes of the 2021 Annual Meeting, and 2022-23 budget.
Thank you to all members, chapters and non-members for your contributions to the Foundation. Your gifts have helped us add another cupcake to the tray! It is through your generous donations that we can promote our mission.
Our A. Margaret Boyd recipient, Gunel Alasgrova, wished to honor all women, especially our DKG women, on International Women’s Day. Please read her heartfelt letter to all members. There is also news from Nominchimeg Davaanyam, a former A. Margaret Boyd recipient.
Thank you for your continued reading, comments and questions of the newsletter. We appreciate your feedback, as it inspires us to write articles and answer questions from our members.

Dear Friends,
I would like to start my letter of gratitude and appreciation with Congratulations on International Women’s Day. It is an honor to know, be around, and get inspired by so many strong and empowered ladies. Knowing your work and commitments, I gained more self-determination to continue studying and working for the sake of education. I fully embrace and feel that this is my life goal and professional aspiration.
I am very excited as in May, I will graduate with my American master’s degree and receive my diploma. Our family prepares for Kent State University’s graduation ceremony as my sons want to see me in a cap and gown. They asked me to hold our flag and throw a cap at graduation. All these make us happy, hopeful, and grateful. Please, know that your support is tremendous in our happiness and achievements.

I arrived back in Mongolia in September 2020 and due to Covid-19 it took me six months to settle down and free myself from housework and raising children.
During this time, Mongolian government, especially Ministry of Education, has been emphasizing the importance of having school psychologists since I returned. Due to Covid pandemic, students have been struggling mentally.
