Wiggling into Reading

The Educational Services Committee happily announces the second Individual/Classroom/Community Project Award approved by the ADSOEF Board of Directors in December 2021. It was granted to Tracie Cowgill, Alpha Xi, and she explains her project below.

“The Alpha Delta State Ohio Educational Foundation has generously funded my project Wiggling into Reading. The funding has enabled me to purchase flexible seating for my at-risk, struggling readers in grades kindergarten through third grade.

Fundraising is essential in meeting our ADSOEF Purposes – “to provide funding to support professional and personal growth of educators, and to support educational excellence for students and educators.” Will ADSOEF be able to award more grants, scholarships, fellowships, and funds for projects?

ADSOEF Annual Meeting

The ADSOEF Annual Meeting will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2022, in conjunction with the OSO Leadership Conference June 10-11, at the Embassy Suites in Dublin. Detailed information will be included in upcoming issues of the ADSOEF newsletter. Mark your calendars and plan to attend!

Name the ADSOEF Newsletter Contest

Rules and Guidelines

In April of 2017, Alpha Delta State Ohio Educational Foundation was formed by you, the members of Ohio State Organization. ADSOEF has a logo, website, brochures, and now its own newsletter. The logo is a wonderful visual identity for the Foundation, but the newsletter needs a name. We are asking current members to put on your thinking caps and submit your suggestion for a name for the newsletter. The name should be appealing, recognizable and help promote the Foundation. The winner of this contest will receive public recognition, bragging rights, registration and lunch on Saturday for one at the June OSO Leadership Conference, and recognition at the 2022 ADSOEF Annual Meeting on June 11.
