COUNCIL MEMBER YDANIS RODRIGUEZ TO HONOR HERO OF 9/11 ON EVE OF 15TH ANNIVERSARY
(New York NY) - Tomorrow, September 9th, Council Member Rodriguez will join family members and former colleagues of the late Police Officer Bruce Reynolds as a portion of Park Terrace West is co-named in his honor. Officer Reynolds lost his life on September 11th, 2001, during the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center.
Bruce Reynolds was raised in Inwood, where his father started a garden, since named in his honor. The Bruce Reynolds Way street sign will be unveiled following a short speaking program featuring Council Member Rodriguez, who sponsored legislation that led to the co-naming, Senator Espaillat, family members and Officer Reynolds' former colleagues.
