New York, NY -- On Wednesday, April 19th, Council Member Ydanis Rodriguez will join executive directors from participating organizations at a press conference to announce programming along Saint Nicholas Avenue in Washington Heights on Saturday, April 22nd, for Car Free Day.
A stretch of 9 blocks, from 181st street to 190th street, will be closed to car traffic and open to people and cyclists, featuring educational and entertainment programming. There will be two stages featuring cultural performances from local and citywide organizations, plus bike classes, giveaways and more!
