NORTHERN MANHATTAN COMMUNITY TO CELEBRATES A MASS IN HONOR TO THOSE IN NEED OF A SANCTUARY SPACE IN OUR NATION

New York, NY  -- TODAY, Sunday, August 20th at 12:00PM Noon, NYC Councilman Ydanis Rodriguez, Fr. Luis Barrios, The New Sanctuary Movement, Office of Congressman Adriano Espaillat, Office of NYS Senator Marisol Alcantara, Office of NYS Assemblywoman Carmen De La Rosa, Leaders from our Interfaith Community, and others are celebrating a mass in honor to Amanda, her children, and all the people in our nation who are in need of a sanctuary space to protect themselves.

As Fr. Luis Barrios states "We can NOT be indifferent to human suffering, Sanctuary nowadays is a moral obligation that demands from us to defy an immigration law that is unjust". 

Our Community will keep fighting until Amanda, her children, and all the people in this same situation receives the justice they need.

COMUNIDAD DEL NORTE DE MANHATTAN CELEBRAR UNA MISA EN HONOR A TODAS LAS PERSONAS QUE NECESITAN UN ESPACIO SANTUARIO EN NUESTRA NACIÓN

Nueva York, NY -- HOY, Domingo 20 de Agosto a las 12:00 PM Mediodía, Concejal Ydanis Rodríguez, Rev. Luis Barrios, El Nuevo Movimiento del Santuario, Oficina del Congresista Adriano Espaillat, Oficina de la Senadora Marisol Alcantara, Oficina de la Asambleísta Carmen De La Rosa, Líderes de nuestra Comunidad Religiosa y otros estáran celebrando una misa en honor a Amanda,  sus niñ@s, y todas las personas de nuestra nación que necesitan un espacio santuario para protegerse.

Como el Rev.. Luis Barrios afirma: "No podemos ser indiferentes al sufrimiento humano, Santuario hoy en día es una obligación moral que nos exige desafiar una ley de inmigración que es injusta".

Nuestra Comunidad seguirá luchando hasta que Amanda, sus hijos y toda la gente en esta misma situación para que reciban la justicia que merecen.
