Dominican Artist Pablo Palasso Unveils Modernist Abstraction Exhibit in Washington Heights
New York, NY--On Thursday, November 14th, 2013, Modernist Abstract Artist, Pablo Palasso will be on hand to open his latest exhibit, Formas y Direcciones, at the office of Council Member Ydanis Rodriguez. The exhibit explores the artist's cultural journey both here in the United States and through his travels in Central America and the Caribbean.
Palasso's work touches on the works of DeKooning, Hoffman and Picasso in style and form. His paintings are immediately striking at first glance and are able to draw the viewer for a more fulfilling experience.
Mr. Palasso has been honored by the Essex Art Center in Lawrence, Massachusetts as Best International Exhibitor, as well as by Puerto Rico UNESCO for his work.
This is the latest installment of a series of local artist exhibits to be held at the office of Council Member Ydanis Rodriguez. Council Member Rodriguez has opened his office as gallery space for local artists to give them an opportunity to show their work to the community. Due to a lack of gallery space in the district, this is a great chance for residents to view quality artwork from their talented neighbors.
