ACADEMICS, THOUGHT LEADERS & ELECTED OFFICIALS TO UNVEIL PROGRAM FOR FIRST-EVER SUMMIT ON LATINOS IN NEW YORK CITY
New York, NY -- On Tuesday, May 30th at 12pm, noon, Latino leaders will host a press conference to unveil the program for the first ever, Summit on Latinos in NYC. The summit, taking place on Thursday at Hunter College, will delve into issues pertinent to the Latino community, assessing needs and developing policy proposals to better plan for the future.
The press conference will be hosted by Latino elected officials, academics from CUNY's Puerto Rican, Dominican and Mexican Studies Institutes, and thought leaders in NYC's Latino community. They will unveil the program of speakers, panelists and issues to be discussed during this historic event.
