NYC Parks and Uptown Elected Officials to Host Fun Filled "Snow Day" in Highbridge Park

Sledding, Snowmen/women, Snowangels and Complementary Hot Chocolate for Northern Manhattan Families and Kids!

New York, NY-On Saturday, January 4^th, 2014, NYC Department of Parks and Recreation will host the first ever "Snow Day" in Highbridge Park to the joy of Washington Heights families. Following the first snowstorm of the new year, kids and families will have the opportunity to take part in numerous organized snow activities such as sledding, making snow people, and snow angels. Parks will also provide sleds and hot chocolate to all who participate. Council Member Ydanis Rodriguez, State Senator Adriano Espaillat and Assembly Member Gabriela Rosa will all take part in the activities.
