- On Saturday, October 7th, 2016, Council Member Ydanis Rodriguez will join members of the Lions Clubs International from New York City to honor their late member, Mary Jane Matos, with a street to be co-named in her honor.
The corner of West 170th Street and Broadway will be co-named Mary Jane Matos Way in her honor. There will be a brief program, where family, friends and members of the Lions Club will speak about Ms. Matos and her life, followed by the unveiling of the new street sign.
