COMMUNITY RALLIES TO SAVE SENIOR CENTER FROM EVICTION
(New York NY)- Scores of Seniors from across Northern Manhattan will rally with community leaders and elected officials to call on ARC XVI Fort Washington Senior Center's landlord to renew the center's lease agreement. This is the second community rally aimed at saving the senior center, whose lease is set to
expire on December 31st, 2016.
ARC Ft. Washington Senior Center is a neighborhood institution that has served the Washington Heights senior community for 43 years. Thousands of local seniors rely on the free meals, social services, free transportation and social activities that ARC provides 250 days a year.
