COUNCIL MEMBER RODRIGUEZ & SENATOR ESPAILLAT TO JOIN HPD INSPECTORS AT VIOLATION RIDDEN BUILDING WHERE CEILING COLLAPSED ON TENANT WITH LIFE THREATENING ILLNESS

 

New York, NY-Council Member Ydanis Rodriguez and State Senator Adriano Espaillat will join a Dept of Housing Preservation & Development inspection of 509 West 212th St, a building with countless violations, after receiving word that tenant Peter Rijo's ceiling collapsed. Mr. Rijo has a serious heart condition and must have stable housing to maintain his life sustaining devices. The elected officials will be there in support of Mr. Rijo to ensure he is taken care of during this process and able to receive suitable and sustained housing.
