AESA Bylaws Amendments: Voting is Open
AESA is a member-organization. Members are asked to vote on all proposed amendments to the Bylaws according to the currently approved AESA Bylaws.

Each ESA organization is allowed one vote and the CEO for the organization is designated as the person to cast the vote.
Bylaws Amendments Proposed by Executive Council

Voting is now open for members to weigh-in on bylaw amendments.

The major proposed changes to the Bylaws (document attached to the online ballot) include:
  • Updating the descriptions of AESA membership;
  • Adding a non-voting member representing the State Association Executive Directors on the Executive Council;
  • Allowing that amendments to the Bylaws may be made with a three-fourths majority of the Executive Council; and,
  • Allowing Executive Council meetings via teleconferencing with electronic voting.
There are other minor changes, all of which are highlighted in the document attached to the online ballot.

AESA's Executive Council voted to submit these proposed Bylaw changes to AESA voting membership at the Council’s summer 2018 meeting following a second and final reading. These proposed changes have also been reviewed extensively with legal counsel.
How to Vote

The election period runs from  Thursday, September 6, 2018, 10 am to   Thursday, September 20, 2018, 10 pm .

Easy and secure, we are using an on-line voting service called  ezVoteOnline.com . This voting system authenticates the participant as an eligible voter and verifies that only the designated person on record can cast the organization's vote.
When participants click on the link SENT TO THEM IN AN EMAIL they choose the " Login via Email " option on the right and enter their email address. Authenticated participants are then taken directly to the online ballot.

The deadline is TOMORROW.

If you have already voted - thank you!

If you are a CEO of a member organization, and have not yet voted, please check your email or watch for the reminder email coming soon. Please vote so your organization's voice is represented as an AESA member.
