AF Association Global AF Aware Week
GAFAW 2019 Focus: Detection

Our  "Detect, Protect, Correct & Perfect" campaign  aims to easily detect AF with a simple 30-second pulse check preventing AF-related stroke or heart failure.

We are asking that everyone to check their pulses and encourage others to do the same. 1.5 million people in England have been diagnosed with AF
(not including Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland).
