Hello!

AFFCF is pleased to bring you the latest information about the resources you need to help you and your student get ready for post-secondary studies.

AFFCF SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION

DEADLINE APPROACHING 11/30/24

If you are caring for or working with a young adult who will be enrolled in the Spring 2025 semester (that starts in January of 2025), the AFFCF Scholarship application is now open and the application deadline is 11/30/24.

The AFFCF Scholarship program is for degree-seeking students (Associate or Bachelor degree) who reached (or will be reaching) the age 18 in foster care (either DCS or tribal foster care in Arizona) and who are still under the age of 25 at the time they apply.

Applicants will need to be enrolled in at least six credit hours in the Spring 2025 semester, have one letter of recommendation (from any source, it can also be requested from a reference through the application), and have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher or have earned their GED.

Once an applicant creates an account, he or she will be able to work on the application and sign in and out as many times as needed, the application will save their work.

The application deadline for the Spring 2025 semester is 11/30/24. Please note that this is only for NEW applicants. Students who are already part of the AFFCF Scholarship program have a different renewal process once the semester ends.

Applicants who will be starting college in the Fall of 2025 semester should not apply yet, the application period for students who will be enrolled starting in the Fall 2025 semester, will be from 4/1/25 - 4/30/25.
