ADMINISTRATOR'S MESSAGE

Hello Cavemen,

Historians might see 2023 as the year where artificial intelligence became available to the masses. As AI advances, education must focus on developing unique human qualities like charater, creativity, and critical thinking. Our worth is not just based on what we produce, but who we are as individuals. Learning these skills will not only help us make valuable contributions to society, but also increase the joy and fulfillment we experience as humans. So, let's keep learning, growing, and using our creative and critical thinking skills to improve ourselves and the world around us.

PROUD to be a Caveman,

In order to keep any and all of the materials currently stored in their alpinesd.org Google Drive they may use Google Takeout to save an external archive of your files. They will need to follow the steps included here to download their Google account data to a hard drive or external flash drive. This needs to be completed before July 1 in order to avoid losing access to all of their work.

Region IV Orchestra Festival

Orchestra Students performed at Westlake HS in Region IV Orchestra Festival. The AFHS Chamber Orchestra received Straight Superior Ratings and are Qualified for State Orchestra Festival in May. They were amazing and the Judge's comments were "beautiful", "lovely" and "wonderful" as they performed. They deserved every positive comment. There were 12 orchestra performances in our Region. The AFHS Chamber Orchestra and 4 other groups are going on to the State Competition.

The Symphonic/Concert Combined Group played beautifully as well but received a combined score of "Superior Minus" which just barely takes them out of the opportunity to go to State. They played with their hearts and did so well.
