Action Alert: Tell Congress No Cuts to Medicaid

Are you ready to advocate? Disability Rights Ohio published this article outlining the dangers of Medicaid cuts for people with disabilities.  In Ohio, Medicaid covers healthcare for nearly 3 million people. If Medicaid is cut, our neighbors, family, and friends will lose essential care services.

We encourage you to send your own message by using NCIL’s Action Alert Tool asking your elected officials to oppose any cuts and work requirements regarding Medicaid

Making Pride Accessible in Cincinnati – Year Two

June is Pride Month! Independence Alliance would like to highlight its partnership with Cincinnati Pride to provide accessibility consulting for the parade and festival. Last year’s feedback brought about some changes that helped in making this year even more accessible. We are pleased to once again have this opportunity to collaborate with Cincinnati Pride and applaud their dedication to making this event more accessible each year. Learn about all of the accessibility measures for the June 28th Cincinnati Pride events here.
