We made it! Congratulations on making it to the finish of the school year. We hope you have a wonderful and restful summer. To those families returning next year we are excited for another great round of events, concerts and trips. To the class of 2026 (students and families) thank you for so many years of wonderful memories. Shine Bright and go Dons!

A heartfelt thank you to our band directors and talented student musicians for putting together such wonderful performances at this year’s Bandcake Breakfast!

We are also incredibly grateful to our families, alumni, sponsors, and community members for your generous support and participation.

Because of your support, Bandcake was a meaningful and successful event for our students and band community. All donations and sponsorships received will go directly toward supporting our musicians with equipment, performances, competitions, and future opportunities.

Thank you for being part of the Amador music family and for helping our students continue to grow and thrive through music!

Tunes & Tastes Tuesdays 🍽️

Join Amador Friends of Music every last Tuesday of the month for a delicious way to support the AVHS music programs!

Dine at participating local restaurants and a portion of proceeds will benefit marching band, color guard, concert bands, jazz bands, and more. Grab a meal, invite your friends and family, and help keep the music going strong!

This month we are featuring Mendocino Farms in Dublin! This new restaurant will generously donate 50% of the proceeds back to AFM.

Beer Pouring Opportunities

The new season of beer pouring has begun! First up, FIFA World Cup!

Are you interested in learning how to volunteer at sporting events and concerts? Would you love to lower your donation ask for the next school year's music program? If so, send an email to Michele Bantugan at funbpour@gmail.com to get more information! 

🎶 Volunteers Needed – Join the AFM Team!

The Amador Friends of Music (AFM) community plays a vital role in supporting the incredible range of music programs at our school — including choir, orchestra, wind ensembles, marching band, color guard, winter guard, winter percussion, and jazz ensembles.

Behind every performance, competition, and unforgettable student experience is a team of dedicated parent volunteers who make it all possible. Volunteering with AFM is a great way to support our talented students, connect with other music families, and help our programs thrive. Come join the team, build lasting friendships, and create memories you’ll cherish for years to come!



We are currently looking to fill several Board and Committee positions, including Bandcake Co-Chair, Campana Chair and Campana Scholarship Lead and Band Seniors Lead. Many roles can be co-chaired or shared and support is always available - you won’t be doing it alone and we’re happy to answer any questions about responsibilities or time commitment.

Volunteer at the Alameda County Fair! 🎉

Volunteer opportunities at the Alameda County Fair are now open!

By volunteering at the fair, you’ll receive free admission and help earn funds for Amador Friends of Music (AFM)—a great way to give back while having fun!

Please sign up using the QR code on the flyer and select “Amador Friends of Music” as your volunteer group.
