Competition Readiness

Competition Season is finally here!!!

With our first competition this Saturday we wanted to send out a "Survival Guide" to assist families in helping their student prepare and to make sure you are all ready for the night as well. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to email me at newmemberliaison@amadormusic.org Looking forward to seeing you all at Independence HS this Saturday evening.

BOA Regional Championships – Medication Reminder

Our exciting trip to BOA Regional Championships in Etiwanda (October 31 – November 2) is just around the corner! As we prepare to cheer on our amazing students, we want to make sure everyone stays safe, comfortable, and well cared for throughout the weekend.

To help us do that, please review the following important reminders about medications:

If your child will carry their own medication:

Please be sure the Contract to Carry Form has been completed and submitted to the band.

If you would like the RA team to administer or provide medication:

Please complete and submit the Medication Consent Form so we can ensure proper handling during the trip.

We’ll hold a Medication Drop-Off during practice on Wednesday, October 29th, from 8:30 pm – 9:00 pm. If that time doesn’t work for you, please don’t hesitate to contact us to arrange an alternative.

Questions or alternate drop-off arrangements: Email us at avhs.ra@gmail.com

.

Thank you for helping us keep our kids safe and comfortable while they represent Amador Valley with pride!

Here's the link to the Fall 2025 Marching band dietary restrictions form.

*If your child has a severe allergy, you may want to consider packing food for the trip that you know is safe, as we will not be able to guarantee there is no cross-contamination.
