Director's Report

We hope you enjoyed the long weekend! We are back to practices this week (with a break from the heat) and will be continuing to work on our field show. By the end of Saturday practice we expect to have all of parts 1 and 2 on the field with music and drill!

Looking ahead, our first home football game is Friday 9/12. An itinerary will go out later this week with detailed information.

Fall Family Preview is Saturday 9/20. At 4:00 pm we will do a performance of as much of the show as we have learned and invite you to bring friends and family to watch the band. The event wraps before 4:30.

Finally, a reminder about marching band/color guard photos on Thursday 9/25. The final band uniform pieces will have been delivered by then and the guard costumes should be ready. Stay tuned for a detailed schedule closer to the event.

For Amador is our name,

Mr. Grantham & Mr. Fell

We need volunteers to provide water for the band!

Hello Amador Marching Band and Color Guard parents! Football games are coming up in September, and the weather can be hot. It is very important for our kids to stay hydrated, and this is where you can help! We need parents to clean and fill water bottles for each game. For this job, you do NOT need any volunteer clearance! This is a great way to help out the band and color guard without having to go through the clearance process. Please check out the sign up genius below and see if you can help out. Thanks!
