Careen received her M.S. in Physician Assistant Studies at Bay Path University after graduating from the University of Rochester with a M.S. in Medical Humanities and Bioethics and UMass Amherst with a B.S. in Biology because she wanted to be a strong advocate for patients and their families. She was raised in Western Massachusetts and remains very family-oriented!
Susan is thrilled to join AFP after moving here from Asheville, North Carolina. She works primarily with tweens, teens, young adults and parents of adolescents, as well as adults. Susan uses a multi-modal approach with her clients, drawing from CBT, Reality Therapy, DBT, Narrative Therapy and Psychodynamic Therapy.
Hanna is a licensed social worker specializing in children and young adults. Her style is warm, trauma-informed, and client-centered. As a queer, neurodivergent therapist, she is passionate about providing LGBTQIA+ and neurodiversity affirming care. Her therapeutic approach is informed by the Health At Every Size and disability justice paradigms.
