Valentine’s Day is not just a day to celebrate romantic love, but also friendship, admiration, and appreciation for others. The upcoming month of February gives us a chance to reflect on love and how it impacts our everyday lives.
Philanthropy literally means a love of humanity. As fundraisers we are lucky enough to help others transform their love and care for humanity into meaningful action through giving. For many of our donors, direct response is an easy way to do that.
No, it’s not just a transactional method of fundraising! A great direct response strategy inspires individuals to put their philanthropy in action. It shows them how impactful their giving can be and celebrates their goodwill. It makes them feel valued and included in the cause they are supporting. It helps us deepen our connections with our donors!
For February’s chapter program, I’m excited to join fellow direct response enthusiasts, Matthew Slay, Stephanie Melchert, and Stephen Raeside in a panel discussion to share our experiences using direct response fundraising. Let's go beyond the blueprint together and unveil the heart of direct response fundraising. Your participation is not just an expression of love for your professional growth, but also a commitment to exploring strategies for growing and engaging donors with your mission.
I hope to see you there!
