Lemonade and Lemons - How to Make Every Decision Count!

You make daily decisions. Some are good. Some...not so good.

As fundraisers we must learn from both. We can't dwell if we want to excel!

This is your chance to hear from two fellow fundraisers:

They've been there. They've done that. And now they want to share their experience (unplugged and uncensored) with you!

Deaf Blind Ambitions

Kevin Frost, Impaired Speed Skating Association of Canada

What is it like to raise funds for a sport that doesn't exist yet? Impaired speed skating is not an official sport recognized by speed skating bodies in Canada. Yet, there are skaters across the country that lace up despite a visual or physical impairment and train to be speed skaters. Kevin Frost and the Impaired Speed Skating Association of Canada (ISSAC) have worked together to raise awareness and funds for impaired speed skating to empower current and new athletes in the sport. In this presentation, you will learn about the obstacles Kevin and ISSAC have faced and how they have overcome them.

Power of Human Potential

Simon Ibell, iBellieve Foundation

Simon will share his story of life with MPS II, or Hunter syndrome, and how he turned his experiences into creating the iBellieve Foundation and fundraising for a cure for MPS II and related diseases.
