Chapter Update - September 1, 2017
While everyone is busy gearing up for successful fall season fundraising and making a positive impact in our community, AFP Southeastern WI continues to offer you opportunities for education, celebration and networking. Don't miss out, check out all the details below!
Partners in Philanthropy Opportunity
Partners in Philanthropy is a unique opportunity for each member of the AFP SEWI to nominate two donors that have made a difference to your organization and to the greater community. This is a great way to provide recognition and stewardship to those that have helped you organization achieve its mission.
NEW THIS YEAR – submit your names by Friday, September 29th and be entered to win two free registrations for the National Philanthropy Day celebration on November 20th.

Fall Mentoring Program
As part of the AFP - Southeastern Wisconsin chapter’s commitment to advance philanthropy through education, training, advocacy, a code of ethical principles and standards of professional practice the chapter’s mentorship program will offer new and intermediate professionals the opportunity to learn from seasoned professionals in a one-to-one matched relationship lasting one year.

We are now accepting applications for the upcoming session, which will match ten mentors and ten mentees. Applications are due September 8th 2017 and the program starts in October. For more information and an application click below.

Getting to know your Chapter Members
Mary Pat Beals, Chief Development Officer, Girl Scouts of Wisconsin Southeast

The AFP Southeastern Wisconsin Chapter is comprised of over 300 hard working and dedicated members, including 15 Board members and almost 40 committee members. Let's learn more about those that work to make us a Ten Star Gold chapter!

September Educational Luncheon
Making the most of community partnerships: expand your prospect pool and find fun, new ways to cultivate donors.

What do singing puppets have to do with civil liberties? Or the Bill of Rights and beauty queens?

Community partnerships with arts groups are fun, free ways to connect with new audiences or enhance the way your current donors see your organization. Many theater companies offer free tickets and the chance to interact with the audience in exchange for promotion – and you’ll be surprise how many of your donors you see in the audience. The work of non-profits is reflected in art because life’s successes and challenges are reflected in art. Draw the connection for your donors and prospects with strategic community partnerships.
