Dear Pueri Cantores family,

During these weeks of Advent, as the Church calls us to watch, wait, and prepare our hearts for the coming of Christ, I am especially mindful of the light that each member of our community brings to the mission of Pueri Cantores. Whether through singing, teaching, supporting, volunteering, or encouraging young voices, your participation helps make the beauty of this season shine more brightly. The sound of children and youth singing the sacred mysteries of Advent and Christmas—chants of longing, hymns of joyful wonder—reminds us all of the hope our faith proclaims. Their voices stand as a living witness to the beauty, innocence, and joy of the Gospel.

We at Pueri Cantores extend our heartfelt gratitude for your involvement and support of our mission and the young people and communities we serve. Your commitment strengthens our work and enables us to continue forming young hearts in faith through the gift of sacred music.

As you and your loved ones journey through these sacred days, may the peace of Advent prepare your hearts, and may the joy of Christmas fill your homes with blessings.

We hope to see you in the New Year at one of our 2026 Pueri Cantores Festivals!

With sincerest gratitude,

Introducing the Pueri Cantores Youth Ambassadors Program

The Pueri Cantores Youth Ambassadors Program celebrates exceptional young Pueri Cantores singers from across the country, offering them inspiring opportunities to share their gifts while representing the mission of Pueri Cantores. Ambassadors serve as youth leaders within their own communities and within the national community of Pueri Cantores—sharing their voices at major liturgical and musical events, collaborating with professional musicians, and igniting a love of sacred music among their peers.

Through this program, the American Federation Pueri Cantores uplifts the next generation of faithful, joyful, and accomplished young musicians—ensuring that the beauty of sacred music continues to flourish for years to come.

We are delighted to present our founding Youth Ambassadors:

Ardyanna Ducusin is a 13-year-old Youth Mental Health Advocate, Songwriter, Recording Artist, Musical Theatre Performer, National TV and Film Actress, and a young author.

Ardyanna has been an active 7-year choir member of Go On Divine Faith Choir, a thriving youth music ministry in Los Angeles, CA, made up of young Catholics ages 6 to young adults, with a mission to spread the Word of God through music and worship. The GOD Faith Choir is an active member of Pueri Cantores, participating in the annual Southern California Festival and has pilgrimaged to Rome for the International Congress of Pueri Cantores. Ardyanna is dedicated to bringing joy, peace, and unity to others through sacred song.

Alliana Lili Yang is a 14-year-old dedicated musician and cantor who began her formal training at St. Anne of the Sunset Catholic Church in January 2018 while attending St. Anne’s School.

For the past six years, she has been serving at the Cathedral of Saint Mary of the Assumption as a soloist, cantor, and psalmist, working with both youth and adult choirs. Through her music ministry, Alliana finds joy in inspiring faith and connection among parishioners and visitors alike. Her musical journey has taken her around the world, including singing at the Vatican with the St. Peter’s Basilica Choir and the Sistine Chapel Choir during the 2023–2024 Christmas Season.

As a two-time participant in the Pueri Cantores Festivals, Alliana values the opportunity to collaborate with other young musicians who share her love of music and faith. She hopes to continue studying music, using her talent to serve her community, uplift others, and glorify God.

Thank you for partnering with us to empower the next generation of faithful, joyful evangelizers to sing out their faith!

Encounters with sacred music can have a profound, transformational and lasting impact on the lives of young people. By bringing Catholic youth together to sing beautiful music from the Church's rich historical repertoire, the American Federation Pueri Cantores provides a unique opportunity to educate and engage these young singers in their faith and in the arts. In addition, Pueri Cantores offers resources and educational opportunities to conductors to assist with their knowledge and training. Through its work, Pueri Cantores seeks to bring the peace of Christ to our cities, our nation, and our world.

Featured Pueri Cantores Choir Member

The St. Bernard of Clairvaux Choristers in Scottsdale, Arizona, consists of 25 dedicated young singers drawn exclusively from parish families, with no associated school, reflecting the strong commitment of the local Catholic community. About half the children reside in Scottsdale, while the other half travel from the surrounding Phoenix suburbs, underscoring the choir’s appeal and the families’ willingness to invest in their formation through sacred music.

As a long-time member of Pueri Cantores, the choir participated in the prestigious International Congress of Pueri Cantores in Rome, Italy in 2015 and 2023 and has attended the Phoenix festival annually since its inception. These awe-inspiring experiences have helped to foster spiritual growth and musical excellence for the hundreds of young people that have been a part of the St. Bernard of Clairvaux Choristers over the years.

Our choir was delighted to participate in Giving Tuesday in support of AFPC, giving back to an organization that has given so much to us. We are deeply grateful for the generous support from our community. Cantate Domino!

NCCF Fund Established for Congo Federation of Pueri Cantores

Help support our brothers and sisters in the Congo!

In the heart of a region long scarred by conflict, music is bringing hope.

These powerful photos from the Archdiocese of Bukavu in the Democratic Republic of Congo capture more than moments of music and cooking lessons — they reveal how beauty, order, and faith can lift young hearts toward a fuller and more hopeful life.

Meet the young students of Pueri Cantores in Bukavu, whose voices and faith are rising above the hardships of their world through the universal language of music and art.

Pueri Cantores of the Resurrection in the Archdiocese of Bukavu is one of the 32 Federations within the International Federation of Pueri Cantores. They have launched a crucial humanitarian project: "Art of Life: Music, Sewing, and Cooking for the Service of the Future: How can one sing when one is hungry and traumatized by the horrors of war?"

The initiative seeks to transform the lives of children and youth—many of whom carry the deep wounds of war—by providing them with comprehensive training in music, sewing, and cooking. Through the School of Music and Arts of the Little Singers of the Resurrection of the Archdiocese of Bukavu, these young artists will find a path to healing while acquiring essential practical skills for their future.

The American Federation of Pueri Cantores has established a fund at the National Catholic Community Foundation (NCCF) to support these urgent humanitarian efforts in the Congo.

Please consider making a contribution to the "Pueri Cantores International Fund" through NCCF to aid the vital work of our brothers and sisters in the Congo Federation. Every gift, large or small, helps open the door to a better future for these suffering young people.
