Government Affairs Committee
AFRA's Government Affairs Committee met via teleconference on August 31 and reviewed the modified committee roadmap and proposed government affairs strategy, which take into account the membership feedback as gathered in the recent surveys. AFRA BMP Development Committee
The BMP Committee recently proposed version 4.0 of the BMP for approval from the Board of Directors, which was approved at the Annual Meeting of the members. This document will be circulated soon for members' reference. To get involved with this Committee, please

AFRA Communications Committee
The Communications Committee has been contacted in regards to a speaking opportunity at the upcoming 26th International Recycled Aluminum Conference in Amsterdam on 6th-8th November. The AFRA R&D Committee met via teleconference on September 12 to review the research network proposals. The committee is collecting some final details about the proposed projects in order to make a recommendation to the Board of Directors as to which research project to pursue. Members are welcome to attend the next R&D Committee teleconference to review and vote on this. To get involved, please email AFRA staff.
