Here is what folks are saying about Dawn Again:
With curiosity, tenacity, and a free-fall dive into the ragged business of real live nature, Doniga has given us an instruction booklet on how to get in touch with our best selves, through getting in touch with the earth. Dawn Again is filled with magic Doniga has made real, down to earth, and attainable, to varying degrees, to anyone.
Joan Baez

Earth care comes alive in this deeply moving personal story. With prose good enough to be called poetry, Doniga captures and explains the heart and soul of creation stewardship, bringing us on a profound journey of awakening and awareness.

EcoFarm 2018
Two Texans Went To New York...
Alaina Menez, AGA Event Director, with her new gal pal at the Grassfed Dairy farm in upstate NY.

2017 Grassfed Exchange in Albany NY.

Board Member, Chad Lemke - AGA Secretary and Co-Founder of The Grassfed Sustainability Group, our Event Director, Alaina Menez made the trek from Austin, TX to Albany, NY to represent AGA at The Grassfed Exchange.  While there, we got to spend some time with Will Harris, AGA President, who was there representing White Oak Pastures, Trent Hendricks, AGA Treasurer, there to represent  his farm and business Cabriejo, and several AGA certified Producers!

"The Grassfed Exchange Conference is a gathering of regenerative ranchers, dairymen, and sustainable food supporters from across the world who come together to network and exchange ideas. We desire to help producers and consumers grow in the knowledge of the grassfed industry."

With around 500 attendees, it was hard to fight the excitement that filled the conference halls.  There were two days of sessions that covered everything from holistic, regenerative culture to silvopasturing to bringing technology into your grazing plans.  AGA was able to speak one-on-one with many small farmers and ranchers in the northeast that are working in grassfed beef and dairy and got to visit with some of our certified producers they were attending the conference, like 7 Sons Farms.   And, of course it wouldn't be a grassfed conference without some ranch visits - we traveled to a grassfed beef ranch that is owned by the historic Roosevelt family and a beautiful grassfed dairy ranch an hour outside of Albany.

These types of events are always a great learning experience, even for those of us who have been in the business for decades.  The biggest take away is that this industry is evolving and growing. We all must be vigilant in fighting the good fight and if possible, fighting together.
