Sen. Tan Parker
AGC-Texas Building Branch is working on hundreds of bills in the 2023 Texas Legislative Session that would impact our commercial construction industry. Some of these bills we’re trying to pass, others we’re making sure they don’t become laws that hurt our industry —either by amending/improving them or by killing them.
Below is a non-exhaustive list of these bills. You can read the text and background of any bill by going to Texas Legislature Online - Bill Lookup and typing in the bill number (e.g., “HB 2265” or “SB 803):
