Central Vermont Chamber's

St. Patrick's Day Award

I’m honored to share that I have been chosen to receive this year’s Central Vermont Chambers' St. Patrick’s Day Community Service Award, and I would love for you to join me (I want you to join me) in celebrating this meaningful moment.

This award represents the spirit of giving back to our Vermont community, and in that vein, I’m inviting anyone who wishes to mark the occasion to consider making a contribution to a cause close to my heart: the Central Vermont Humane Society.

If you're able, a donation of $100$200, or I'd really like to see $500, would make a real difference in supporting the animals and the dedicated team who care for them every day. Any amount is truly appreciated.

Send your check made out to Central Vermont Humane Society to me ASAP- Tax ID (EIN) is 03-0217066

A Contractor’s-Eye View of the Legislature in Action

Week 8 on the Jobsite (AKA the Statehouse)

Lawmakers were hustling like a crew before concrete day, double‑checking plans, moving materials, and trying hard not to trip over the permitting process.

By Richard Wobby, AGC Vermont

As Week 8 wrapped up, the Statehouse felt a lot like a busy construction site right before a big inspection, plenty of clipboards out, everyone triple‑checking their work, and crews hustling to finish what needs doing before the next big deadline.

With Town Meeting Day recess upon us, lawmakers were packing up their toolbelts and heading back to their districts, but not before leaving us with a fresh stack of updates that matter to Vermont’s builders.

Here’s what contractors need to know from the week under the golden dome:
