AGI's Annual Campaign
Until there is a cure, there is AGI.
Whether you've been a long-time supporter or are considering making a contribution for the first time, this is the perfect moment to get involved. Your generosity will help us create a brighter future for individuals like Kathy, a caregiver to her mom who relies on AGI for crucial programs and services.

“I pretty much felt alone and isolated, until I joined an AGI support group. When I first came to AGI, I was not in a good place. I spoke to my counselor and that is where I began to take charge and regain control of my situation. AGI is always here for support; they really know how to put things into perspective."

THANK YOU if you have already donated!

To receive your 2023 tax receipt, please make your donation on or before December 31st.

Navigating the Holidays with Dementia

Community Outreach
Thank you for visiting us!
AGI attended a networking event on November 9th at the Jewish General Hospital’s Carrefour Lea Polansky.

Representatives from various organizations gathered to network with one another and create a dialogue between the CIUSSS departments and external partners. The kiosks and following seminar provided caregivers a chance to learn what services are available to them. AGI counsellors interacted with over fifty individuals, including those affected by dementia, care partners and families, CIUSSS staff, and community partners.
Fundraising Cocktail Event
Here's what happened
Thank you for attending!

AGI would like to extend a warm thank you to all those who attended our first Fundraising Cocktail!

On November 8th, over 60 people attended the Fundraising Cocktail at Bar Loïc. Thanks to the efforts of two AGI board members, the event tailored for young professionals has effectively increased awareness of dementia and AGI’s services within a younger audience. Those who took part directly supported our mission of enhancing the lives of individuals affected by or living with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias.

Keep an eye out for more upcoming events!
Education Conference
It was a huge success!

AGI was excited to reintroduce in-person conferences, kicking off in-house on November 16th. Attendees included family members of individuals living with dementia, caregiving professionals from external organizations, and AGI staff.

This comprehensive, full-day workshop taught caregivers the importance of acting as an equal partner to the person receiving care: through discussion and group activities, participants were given the opportunity to apply and contemplate their existing skills, and learn where they can improve to fulfill a supportive partnership between themselves and the person living with dementia.
Give the Gift of Giving this Holiday Season!
Send a personalized message that will be printed on a Tribute Card and sent to the recipient on your behalf. A tax receipt will be issued for $15 or more. The funds will go towards our programs and services. Cards can be mailed or e-mailed.
