Absentee Ballots

If you cannot attend the AGM and are an active ESCE member, you can vote on the budget and the election of board members via absentee ballots. The absentee ballots are also enclosed within the package. Absentee ballots will be accepted until 4:00 PM on June 4th.

Check-In Process

Doors will open at 6:00 PM, and the AGM will commence promptly at 7:30 PM. Please note that late arrivals will not be able to vote on any motions already discussed. With 500 attendees registered, we strongly encourage you to arrive early for check-in.

Special Resolution

The proposed bylaw revisions will not come into effect at the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM) and will not impact the voting process during that meeting. Even if these revisions are passed at the AGM, they are subject to review and approval by the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) before implementation.

Voting and Membership

Only active ESCE members are permitted to vote at the AGM. Review our membership policy for more information. New memberships or renewals cannot be granted at the AGM itself, so please make sure to complete the membership process by 4:00 PM on June 4th if you wish to vote at the AGM.

Child Care

Please note that no childcare services will be provided, and children are not permitted in the gym. If childcare is a concern, we recommend utilizing absentee ballots or having only one parent attend the meeting. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
