Sign Up for Next Month's Intrasquad Meet!

Be sure to register for our upcoming intrasquad meet happening Saturday, February 11 from 6am to 8am at the Upper East Side campus!

A few reminders when signing up:
 
  • Please select up to three events and one alternative. If it ends up being that there are too many heats for your chosen event(s), we will have to adjust to finish in the allotted time.
  • This is an unofficial competition, so these times will not apply for any award consideration.
  • Sign-up will close on Wednesday, February 9 at 12pm. 
Swim Spotlight
Our very own AGUA Masters swimmer, Sharon Snyder, braved the cold open water at the 2023 Coney Island Polar Bear Club New Year's Day Plunge! Way to go, Sharon!

Swim Workout

For those that are able to find extra time to swim, check out the following pool workout. Please note, these intervals are for short course yards but feel free to adjust as necessary.

  • Warmup (Set yards: 800)
  • 300 swim
  • 300 pull
  • 8 x 25 kick 0:10 rest
  • Odd kicks - butterfly
  • Even kicks - freestyle

  • Pre-set (One round; Set yards: 800)
  • 4 x 75 IMO kick / drill / swim by 25s at 1:30
  • 4 x 125 as 50 IMO / 75 freestyle swim at 2:00

  • Main set (One round; Set yards: 2,400)
  • 4 x 100 freestyle pull at 1:40
  • 8 x 25 IMO drill at 0:30
  • 4 x 100 freestyle swim at 1:35
  • 6 x 50 as 25 butterfly / 25 backstroke (sets 1 and 4); 25 backstroke / 25 breaststroke (for sets 2 and 5); 25 breaststroke / 25 freestyle (for sets 3 and 6) at 0:55
  • 4 x 100 freestyle swim at 1:30
  • 4 x 75 as 25 butterfly / 25 backstroke / 25 breaststroke (for sets 1 and 3) and 25 backstroke / 25 breaststroke / 25 freestyle (for sets 2 and 4) at 1:15
  • 4 x 100 swim at 1:30
  • Odd sets - IM
  • Even sets - Freestyle
