AGUA Masters Weekly Newsletter
As I renewed my U.S. Masters Swimming membership, I stumbled across this great video on reasons why we swim. USMS writes that “Fun, fitness, and friendship are only a few of the reasons why we swim.” Why do you swim? Share what drives you , so that we can highlight the unique intentions that make this team great.

See you in the pool,

Andrew

Get to Know Your Teammates: Leanne Svoboda
Leanne grew up swimming in California at neighborhood pools and Santa Cruz beaches. She was always the first kid in the water and last out. Today, You can find her at Upper East Side morning practices. During the day, she is a pharmacist in the pediatric ICU. Leanne's most unique and impactful travel experience was a volunteer trip to Nigeria during her last year of pharmacy school 10 years ago. She spent two weeks in Nigerian villages dispensing medications for clinics. One trend Leanne hopes will come back is meeting people without an app. Read more about Leanne on our blog.
