Updates to the Team Suit Policy and Handbook
Be sure to review the updates to our 2022-2023 Competition Suit Policy and AGUA Team Handbook. All changes are effective immediately.
As a reminder, families are responsible for all information provided in the team handbook and weekly newsletters.

Congratulations, Coach Diana! | |
Coach Diana Pimer was recently selected to represent Metropolitan Swimming at USA Swimming's inaugural Women Coaches in Governance program!
Developed by female leaders in swimming, the program is geared towards identifying, educating, supporting, and mentoring female coaches who wish to be more involved in organizational governance. A total of 66 coaches were selected.
The program concludes in April 2023 with the opportunity to attend USA Swimming Workshop presented by LiveBarn at The U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, CO.

TYR Suit Fittings Begin This Week!
TYR Sport will visit Asphalt Green on the dates below to assist athletes with proper suit and gear fittings. As a reminder, the AGUA team suit is required during in-season competition for all 14-and-under athletes. Additionally, we are changing our t-shirts this year.
All swimmers are required to purchase the new AGUA shirt bundle for $10. You may purchase multiple bundles. Shirts will be available in our online team store.

Locker Room Reminder
Please remind your athletes that taking photos or videos in the locker rooms is strictly prohibited.

Action Required: MAAPP Acknowledgement
USA Swimming, AGUA's national governing body, requires every family to read and acknowledge the Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policy (MAAPP).
MAAPP was designed to prioritize the safety of athletes and addresses one-on-one interactions, social media and electronic communications, local and team travel, locker rooms and changing areas, and athletic training modalities.
Acknowledgment by all families is mandatory. Please do so by Friday, September 30, 2022.

AGUA needs stroke and turn judges. Being an official is a great way to get involved in your swimmer's life and the sport! You'll learn the rules of competitive swimming and gain a greater understanding of how meets work.
