Great Work at the 8-and-under Championships! |

Congratulations to all who participated in the 2023 Metropolitan Swimming 8-and-under Championships!
Our athletes kept our championship season momentum going earning multiple heat wins and personal bests. A special congratulations to the AGUA 8-and-under boys team on winning the overall team scores! AGUA also earned third place in the combined team scores.

George Laconte led the way with a gold medal in the 6-and-under 25 freestyle and a bronze medal in the 25 butterfly. He was joined on the podium by Emma Bratu (silver in the 50 backstroke and bronze in the 25 breaststroke), Logan Bratu (silver in the 50 backstroke), Elliott Darwell (bronze in the 50 butterfly), and Benjamin Luding (silver in the 50 breaststroke).
AGUA also took home the Sportsmanship trophy after both days of competition! The AGUA coaches could not be prouder of the team's efforts in and out of the water.

Asphalt Green ID Cards
All swimmers must use their ID cards to access Asphalt Green's Upper East Side and Battery Park City campuses at each practice. Swimmers will not be permitted to enter the facilities without swiping in with their ID.
